INTRODUCTION


Army General Analysis - PART 3A, reviewing Ranged PvP Generals.


The Ranged Attacking PvP March will be the primary PvP March (at least when starting out).


When moving moving to K42 and beyond, players need to start prioritizing March Size Increase over everything else


Rankings have been updated to v4.2.1.


Major revisions include:


  • Increased the multiplier for March Size Increase from 2.67 to 6.00 so that it better reflects the increased availability of Total Keep Buffs (from approximately +2000% to approximately +4000%).

  • Added Covenant Bonus Attributes for the appropriate Army Generals. Covenants work on both Lead and Assistant Generals, and provide a significant boost over Army General that do not have Covenants, especially when those Army Generals are used as Assistants.

  • Covenant Scores are included as follows:

    • Red Rankings include the six (6) Covenant Score.

    • Yellow Rankings include the six (6) Covenant Score.

    • Orange Rankings include the four (4) Covenant Score.

    • Purple Rankings include the two (2) Covenant Score.

  • Covenant Scores are included for:

    • Marcus Agrippa

    • Godfrey of Bouillon

    • Merlin

  • Added the Skin Bonus Attributes for the appropriate Army Generals. The Skin Scores are only included with the Red Rankings.

  • Skin Scores are included for:

    • Elektra [D]

ATTRIBUTE METHODOLOGY - v4.2.0


Attribute Ranking Methodology


The EvonyAnswers (EvAns) Attribute Ranking System will tend to favor Offense (Attack & March Size) over Toughness (HP & Defense). It also tends to favor Army Generals with good Enemy Debuffs.


There's a multiplier for each Attribute to achieve the approximate Score Weightings listed below. All the multipliers are applied the same way to all Army General Attributes in each specific category.


Attribute Categories:

  • Basic Attributes Score - Leadership, Attack, Defense, & Politics.

  • Base Skill Score - Also known as the "Built-In" Skill Score.

  • Four (4) Skill Book Score - For the Lead General's Best four (4) Possible Skill Books.

  • Covenant Score - As appropriate for that Specific Ranking (i.e. 6, 4 or 2 Covenants)

  • Specialties Score - As appropriate for that Specific Ranking (i.e. 4 Yellow, 3 Orange, or 3 Purple)

  • Ascending Enhancement Score - only added for the Ascending Enhancement Rankings.

  • Skin Score - If applicable and only added for the Ascending Enhancement Rankings.


Development Levels


All Lead General Development Levels include: Basic Attributes Score, Base Skill Score, and Four (4) Skill Book Score.


For the Attribute Methodology, there are four (4) different Development Levels as follows:

  • Red: Maximum (10-Star) Ascending Enhancements, six (6) Covenants, four (4) Yellow Specialties, and Skins

  • Yellow: Six (6) Covenants and four (4) Yellow Specialties

  • Orange: Four (4) Covenants and three (3) Orange Specialties

  • Purple: Two (2) Covenants and three (3) Purple Specialties

1. Merlin – Grade: A+ (100.0% - 1,166) – He has the 2nd highest possible Ranged Attack Increase at +466%, and his Toughness score is fantastic, but his March Size Buff is low, which leaves his use beyond K42 in question.

  • Specialist Against: Opponents that are heavy on Mounted Troops. This will probably be the case for 80-90% of opponents when starting out in Battlefield (unless you’re playing All-Star Level opponents).

  • Conflict Group: RA11

  • Dragon: Not Required

  • Acquisition: VERY DIFFICULT, not currently available in the Epic Historic General (Glory or Premium) Tokens.   • Acquisition: Relatively EASY, available in the Relic Chamber Rewards (RCR) Activity. Also still available in the Epic Historic General (Glory & Premium) Tokens, which are most commonly found in the highest priced Event Packs ($100).

  • Introduced: December, 2019

  • Recommended Specialty Level: 4-Yellow. For free and light spending players, she's currently the best option for Ranged Attacking Lead PvP General.
